Disappointing to lose our last home game, but this result shows why we were not good enough to get into the play offs,3 wins in 19 games against the teams above us shows we would never have been good enough even if we had got into them, but well done Preston and Millwall who have showed what you can do without spending millions, but recruit well.

Lot's of work to do in the summer, and we could have another shot at the play offs if we bring in the right players, otherwise we will be looking at a bottom half battle, and risk getting dragged in to a relegation fight..............nearly forgot, well done to the Blades for keeping the season alive, and in the right way,for 45 games out of 46,great effort, but more quality needed now.

Good Side Preston......

They caused Wednesday massive problems at Hillsboro...

Can’t remember the score though.!

This game just confirmed the inevitable, it takes a lot to get into the play offs and united have been nowhere near the required standard since December. Wilder pretty much said what I’ve been saying for weeks, that it’s been a weaker division this time and the club should have ceased the chance to buy the right quality from a position of strength. A major error by the powers that be.

He said it will be a stronger division next season,he didn't say anything about it being weaker this season compared with any other season.
