ez8004   10 #133 Posted July 4, 2018 Hallam is good with courses leading to job straight away such as paramedic, teaching etc. Sheffield is more theoretical and would suit people that like academia and want to enjoy student Life.  So Hallam doesn't excel in academia? Got it.  ---------- Post added 04-07-2018 at 19:06 ----------  it depends what you want and what subject Hallam is very central so you dont get the community spirit at uni of for example But remember big developments are happening very soon and will lift hallam up the rankings new buildings and everything coming central .  If you're not in the Russell Group, as far as I am concerned, it isn't a uni worth paying £9k/year for.  New buildings won't significantly lift a university's ranking. Excelling in research in a large number of fields will.
 Share this content via...
