Total rubbish, the leaders of the failed Rotherham Council that were complicit in the recent child abuse cases were also highly paid, its a case of the incompetent awarding themselves huge wages because they can, ludicrous.

 

Were they arrested, charged and convicted of what you accuse them off here? As far as I am aware they haven't. But if they have than it shows how much responsibility goes with this job.

 

'In charge of tens of thousands of people.' Actually SCC current staff number is around 7,000.

 

Many of which have not had a pay rise for several years, while Mr Mothersole, has had a jumber of pay rises over that period.

Surprising thing is though, when these CEO's who blatantly fail and are "forced" to move on (with all the associated perks) seem to drop on another CEO job without any problem. How that happens is a complete mystery to me.

Some are on over £120,000 so just average it out among the eighteen high trouserers . As to social services who knows .
