Antone   10 #37 Posted April 11, 2018 Looks like the winners and runners up this season will have more than the average points for those positions in the Championship.  Does that make it poor?  Of course, it's not the premier league, so there's no permanent big six. And the impression that "everyone can beat everyone else" makes it different to the PL and maybe more interesting.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFL_Championship#League_champions,_runners-up_and_play-off_finalists
 Share this content via...
chalga   10 #38 Posted April 11, 2018 Your last point in the OP answers your own question  I don't see that as a reason to make it poor, other teams have replaced those who were near the top by adding quality to their teams, and therefore the league, you can't say that just because a team that was good last season has struggled this season is the reason why a team that were not in the running last season is doing well this. The latter has to be given credit for improvement,it can't all be down to others failure.  ---------- Post added 11-04-2018 at 10:25 ----------  Looks like the winners and runners up this season will have more than the average points for those positions in the Championship. Does that make it poor?  Of course, it's not the premier league, so there's no permanent big six. melthebell   862 #39 Posted April 11, 2018 Wouldn't say good or bad, but weird, not just us have strangely struggled, but the likes of Sunderland, hull and reading too
 Share this content via...
NERVY-OWL Â Â 192 #40 Posted April 11, 2018 It's still a better league than the premiership. No point debating if it's better or worse this season. United have had a better than expected season and we have been awful. I would say the teams have just upped their game, especially the promoted teams
 Share this content via...
