Annie Bynnol   612 #1 Posted April 1, 2018 Ordered a new German built car in January. It arrived Grimsby two weeks ago. Told on Thursday that the car documentation says it is a left hand drive car and so there will be a further delay because of Bank Holiday, Computers and DVLA.  Are we being (not) taken for a ride? ECCOnoob   1,020 #2 Posted April 1, 2018 I wouldn't think so. Its only 10 working days and even less time available with a long bank holiday weekend.  Seems about normal for a brand new car. Particularly if there are other issues which needs to be dealt with.
 Share this content via...

ivan edake   13 #6 Posted April 4, 2018 Sounds about right. A colleague of mine waited 10 months for his new Focus RS to be delivered and that too was built in Germany. Is a Focus RS really worth waiting 10 months for?Why not buy a really low mileage used car and save thousands?
 Share this content via...
Obelix   11 #7 Posted April 4, 2018 Because a top end Focus RS will just about keep up with a bottom end German hot hatch.  I mean if you settled for less than an RS you'd get diesel fumes from every Merc, BMW and Audi on the road blown in your face and who would want that?
