No more Church bells?

With it being Palm Sunday, how come you never here church bells anymore?

I never here church bells hear, but I hear church bells here many times a day. They awake me in the morning.

 

If you are concerned about not hereing church bells, have you offered to ring them in the church you attend?

I think Anna B could be right. There could be a shortage of bell ringers. I was watching something on TV a few years ago saying it’s getting harder to attract new members.

There IS a shortage of ringers im afraid. Sadly its seen as too much of an old folks hobby

Having lived some years ago near Ranmoor church, I wish there was a shortage then. They used to kick-off on Sunday morning at 9 o'clock and ring for about half an hour. Tuesday evening they practiced for 2 hours. But Saturday was a three hour stint if there were several weddings on. They sounded like scaffold poles being dropped from a great height!
