IgniteI 10 #1 Posted March 5, 2018 Work Not Charity – An exhibition inspired by Painted Fabric Ltd Home and workplace for disabled veterans 1915-1959 Created by the Artists as part of the WEA Project: The Story of Painted Fabrics Ltd Saturday 31st March to Tuesday 17th April A celebration event for the end of the first year of a project focusing on Sheffield’s Painted Fabrics Ltd which was set up in the aftermath of the First World War to provide retraining and employment for service personnel. Venue: The Art House, 8 Backfields, Sheffield, S1 4HJ Exhibition and Café Opening Times: Monday – Saturday, 11 am – 3 pm (Closed on Easter Monday) A preview will be held on Thursday 29th March 4-6 pm.
