Grey Skies, Nothing But Grey Skies..

That Study is apparently not available, and currently under review for editing, so just an abstract of the findings have been released.

"We show that independent satellite and in situ observations each yield statistically indistinguishable decadal increases in EEI from mid-2005 to mid-2019 of 0.50±0.47 W m-2 decade-1 (5%-95% confidence interval). "

Translation by Scientific American:

"Now, scientists say, the imbalance is getting more lopsided. New research published this month in Geophysical Research Letters finds it approximately doubled between 2005 and 2019.

The total imbalance is still relatively small—a difference of about 0.3% in radiation in versus radiation out."

So we have a 0.3% difference over 14 cherry picked years.

And how has that affect global temperatures, and global polar ice?

See for yourselves:

You posted that graph before.

If you haven't worked out the claim you made was completely at odds with what you present as evidence

Thanks.

Here's my reply from last time you posted this graph.

That you again post the same graph still arguing that it shows the opposite of what it does shows you really don't understand what you are posting.

It's the best science on climate we have from official sources. Something you'll never see posted by the Main Steam Media.  A 42 year satellite record.

It is what it is.

I post it to set the record straight!

e.g.

You said, "You do realise that shows average temperatures increasing by about 0.5 deg. C over that time. Don't fall into the same trap that Trump did of confusing weather with climate - at best it makes you look like you don't understand what you are talking about."

The temperature chart actually shows a warming anomaly of 0.05 degrees over the 42 year satellite record.

NOT 0.5 degrees.

Do you understand the difference?

And the Global Ice Extent chart shows there has been NO "rapid ice melt" over the same period, as claimed by the other poster.

This is serious stuff.

There's science, and there are the catastrophic global warming crowd, and their exaggerations and even lies, about what the science actually says.

The Arctic Ice did not disappear in 2015.  Lol

It shows an approximately 0.5 deg. C rise over that time. No matter how much you claim it doesn't, other people can look at the graph and see you are wrong.

It shows the "warming anomaly" clearly stated as such. It's actually 0.08 degrees, but your post referred to another earlier chart that showed an negative anomaly of -0.05 degrees.

The use of "anomaly", as published monthly by NOAA,  is to smooth out the chaotic data around the median observations, given the arbitrary date that the satellites were first launched.

If NOAA did not use the smoothing effect of anomaly, the the chart above would show that there was actually no warming over the period from 1980 to 2012 - 32 years. Lol

Also it would show an actual cooling from 1999 to the present.

So please, please, don't give any encouragement to the global ":cooling" cult!

I'm busy enough with you guys!

Lol

From the page you got the latest version of the graph from:

Quote

The linear warming trend since January, 1979 remains at +0.14 C/decade (+0.12 C/decade over the global-averaged oceans, and +0.18 C/decade over global-averaged land).

+0.14 C/decade over the 4 decades shown on the graph = +0.56 C.

Just considering the figure for the most recent month is talking about the weather.

Maybe that's why they named it Death Valley, back in 1850. Lol

But don't panic.  In 1913, the temperature of 134 °F (57 °C) recorded here hit an unsurpassed world record.

Here's NASA

"Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth", Study Finds

"From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25. 2016

"An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States."
