Co op dronfield civic centre closing?

hi iv just heard that the co op at the dronfield civic centre is closing down in march of this year and re opening as a poundstretcher. has anyone else heard if this is true or not

The Civic Centre’s retail occupancy beggars belief, 4 empty units, 3 charity shops and now the Co-op throwing the towel in. However the close proximity of both Sainsbury and Aldi will not have done the Co-op any favours, I suppose it’s a sign of the times.

Not many ten-bob millionaires on Cowley Lane and in Millthorpe, which fall within the Dronfield Town post code.

I would have preferred B and M. I'm amazed the Co-op has lasted as long as it has, there's usually more staff than customers.
