geared   303 #2 Posted January 29, 2018 Doesn't Windows have a basic, free video editing package?  Might need to download it from Microsoft, but I'm sure they had one that did simple things.
 Share this content via...

L00b   441 #4 Posted January 29, 2018 (edited) Download and install VLC (free, small at 28MB).  Then use the 'convert/save' option in the 'file' menu.  select your video as the input click save/convert at bottom on next screen, click the edit button (small square with hammer and screwdriver) on video codec tab, tick 'keep original video track' on audio codec tab, untick 'audio' click save at bottom select where to save your output file and give it a name ('destination' at bottom) click start  -done  (...then upload the new file to Youtube: the new file is identical to the first for video contents, but doesn't have any audio at all).  [PS: it's also a great tool to convert mkv and allsorts, into mp4 files, very quickly and at very little CPU/GPU cost] Edited January 29, 2018 by L00b
 Share this content via...
swarfendor437 Â Â 14 #5 Posted January 29, 2018 For Editing purposes, you could use Openshot Video Editor: Â https://www.openshot.org/ Â Now it has been a while since I used it and the screenshots on the site don't help but usually under the track number there should be an 'eye' for video and 'speaker' for audio - if you click on the 'speaker' it should have a bar running through it = no sound. Â But Loob's solution is the quickest. I posted in respect of whether you ever want to look at producing and editing your captured videos and you can then add music tracks to replace any spoken words etc. Â
 Share this content via...
