Waldo   96 #6 Posted January 18, 2018 I just hope the same standards (and punishments for any breach of) apply to players and referees alike. Is that the case in football?  If you compared 2 separate instances of abuse on the pitch; a referee abusing a player, and a player abusing a referee; would you expect a comparable punishment for the aggressor in each instance (assuming a comparable level of aggression / violence)?
