Voluntary driving

I have a few free days a week which are flexible and i am wanting to do some voluntary driving. I have a full UK license and years of no claims, But where do i start?. Any advice would be great as i like to keep busy.

Maybe approach local lunch clubs or social groups? Try local churches or community centres, charities etc.

Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind, (SRSB) on Mappin Street are always in need of volunteer drivers. Try them, they'd be pleased to hear from you.

And do not forget you need the correct insurance to cover you to do this or you will be in serious trouble. Insurance company have to be notified of what you will be using the car for.

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for all the ideas and suggestions. I will be in contact with them tomorrow. Will keep you informed. therascal i have been in touch with my insurance provider and they are happy to change my policy to cover me. Good point you made though as many get caught out.
