alchresearch   213 #14 Posted January 11, 2018 Its not just to a woman i see poor driving daily. and in almost every case he poor driver it beeped or flashed at will always react aggressively as if they are in the right  Gone are the days when someone would put up their hand and apologise when they're in the wrong.  Thankfully, the police do act on dashcam footage of serious transgressions, so maybe that will make morons act more responsibly in future.  If the police don't act, as soon as the footage gets uploaded to the web the internet trolls do their best to track down the driver and give them or their employers some serious abuse!  Its amazing how many liveried van drivers behaviour changes after seeing your dashcam! roffeyd007 Â Â 10 #16 Posted January 11, 2018 I use this road regularly and have experienced the problem of drivers pulling out of Endcliffe Glen Road on countless ocassions. The drivers don't look to see the traffice coming from their left (which is travelling on the on-coming traffic's side due to the highway restriction. When I drive on this road, I am always on the look out for drivers who do this. Thankfully I have not had any abuse. If the OP wants to forward this response to teh police, I am happy to talk to them. It is partly a problem with the road layout, but mostly one of poor road users failing to look both ways. monkey104 Â Â 10 #17 Posted January 11, 2018 I was watching a YouTube video of the tram from Meadowhead to town circa 1960 ( Sad I know) It was quite interesting to see that despite the lack of traffic lights and plethora of other road signs how freely the traffic moved. Vehicles were giving way to others and allowing the tram though. Although there was not as much traffic as now you could see how vehicles were making progress and allowing others to make progress too. I see people "apologising" all the time, they're not really sorry and know full well they have just purposely committed an offence. Jog_on   10 #21 Posted January 11, 2018 Half of the problem is that the people who are going slow consider themselves the safe drivers, when half of the time they are the problem. Oblivious to anyone else, failing to make progress, failing to recognise the size of their vehicle and generally taking the moral high ground. Slow is not always right. redruby   279 #22 Posted January 12, 2018 Just around the corner on riverdale road I once had to stop and wait behind two cars blocking the road whilst two men had a road rage slanging match in the middle of the road whilst traffic backed up around them.  And as a pedestrian I've witnessed some absolutely terrible driving lately in residential areas. Mainly driving way, way too fast in 30mph zone. Not cool.
 Share this content via...
