VW Specialist in Sheffield?

Recommended Posts

PA Autos on Portland Lane (just off West Street) are VW and Audi specialists, and though I don't own one, they've always done a fantastic job on my Hyundai/Toyota/Ford!

Good to hear they are still going. Used to take my old Beetle there at one time!

Another vote for Autohaus Dolby here..... Matt is a bit of a VAG uber guru.

Car is with them now, only bad points being that they discovered my rear shocks are both leaking and the brakes need doing on top of what I needed doing anyways....sigh, then again it has done >140k miles :)

gilders or now known jct 600 vw specialists

No they're not mate. They are a VW main dealership. The guy was asking about independent garages who specialise in VW. The point is avoiding main dealers because they charge a lot and don't do a good job in the main.

I've had my Touareg serviced by this guy and a couple of other jobs done on it at a fraction of the price quoted by the dealer.

I've also used them 3 or 4 times for my Mini, and was happy with the work.

Also they will come and collect your car, which is useful if you live on other side of town and can work from home (they won't collect in rush hour due to the time it takes apparently).
