There was a film made in the 60's, it was filmed on Hyde Park, and i remember that one of the flats used in some scenes was my aunt and uncle's flat. The name escapes me though...

Elvis sang a song about Hyde park, it was called in the Ghetto.:hihi:

An episode of The Vice (1999-2003) was filmed in the house at the 'town' end of Talbot Street.

The film Doomsday Gun (1992), starring Kevin Spacey (CIA) and Frank Langella (as Gerald Bull, Iraqi Supergun inventor) shot scenes at Sheffield Forgemasters.

I'm sure both Billy Connolly (the canal basin) and Fred Dibnah (Abbeydale Ind Hamlet) shot scenes here, too?

Made in Sheffield, Looks and Smiles

I love the film, Looks And Smiles. It's exactly how I remember the early 1980s.
