Don't know? I wasn't out down that way at 6:30 this morning but the road is full of vehicles about an hour ago, some parked up next to the trees that were due to be pruned.

I'll try & find something out tomorrow?

Don't worry yourself fella...;)

I was just interested if anyone complied with the 'Leaflets'..

No I was questioning whether the police were pressurised by the council.

thats a different thing.

you then attempted to refocus it into me defending the council.

That's precisely how you defended the council throughout the long history of this thread, misdirection and questioning whether the council was really responsible, even when it very clearly was.

I was talking about the police not the council.

I don't believe the police arrested people because of pressure from the council.

I'm not suggesting the arrests were correct as they've been proven to be wrong - I don't think that the council made them do it though.

This looks a lot like defending the council.

And now this...

Seems SYP are easily mislead and don't seem to mind that they are.

I meant the police made their own decision.

Meaning that the council weren't at fault.

No - the council could have been wrong - it doesn’t mean the police acted on that.

Youre assuming that the police didn’t act independently of the council.

i hope they didn’t.

Another stage of the gradual unravelling of Sheffield City Council's web of deceit:

I wonder for how many trees this was true of.

Those of us who have been campaigning against the unnecessary removal of trees have been saying for years that is was the case the felling was clearly not a final resort, and trees were being felled unnecessarily.

Good to see the truth finally coming out.

That report is disgusting, clearly coordinated lies coming out of the council.

They should be made to stop while independent reviews of any others are processed, and the reports open to the public.

Councillors and council employees are public servants. Some Sheffield councillors and council officers have interpreted public service as "lying to the public to protect the financial interests of a private company". Anyone complicit in that clearly needs to be barred from office/sacked
