Council tree felling...

Recommended Posts

Because of the points outlined in my two previous posts.

In addition I haven't seen anything in this thread to make me believe otherwise.

This is purely my subjective opinion, of course.

You seem to want to paint anyone who doesnt agree with as black as you can with slander and misinformation.

the person that shouted the threat was a plant by the council.

They guy being interviewed by Toby (can’t remember his name David (??) said the protestors believed the person that shouted the threat was a plant by the council

Its ridiculous, isnt it? They really cant believe that "one of their own" would utter such bile.

I think, given the 'poison tea' smear campaign, they might actually be right to be suspicious.....

Funny, I just used google and found that as first response to search..........

I thought it was pretty obvious they meant PRIOR to his leaving. We know the death threats were reported AS he left, its just suspicious that it was never mentioned PRIOR.

I didn't find this, because I typed Brian and not Bryan into google. The former turned up:

I had no idea the latter had occurred! Resigned once in shame....back for another round.....resigns again in shame....will there be a third round?!

I enjoyed this quote: "Council leader Julie Dore praised Mr Lodge's "excellent" work in handling "the most challenging financial situation in the council's history".

Good to see that 5 years later he managed to preside over a new "most challenging financial situation in the council's history"!

What a guy!

If there is evidence of people turning up at his house , evidence of abusive e mails and evidence of death threats then surely we could expect some action from the police ? :suspect:

How do you know they aren't investigating it? Do they make everything public?

I don't know whether they are or aren't , but normally in a high profile case like this , you get a statement from the offended or the police ,saying something like the offended has reported it to the police .
