bassett one   448 #14 Posted December 10, 2017 the snow has now disguised the tree bare branchs now I presume, but it is a disgrace for such a huge city, seen better at the local shops.who bought this excuse of a tree?
 Share this content via...
bendix   10 #15 Posted December 11, 2017 "medium size town , type of way " and people wonder why we cant get serious investors in Sheffield   Sheffield gets plenty of investment. AMRC is doing great stuff. Chinese money is rolling in.  The problem with this city is it needs to start talking itself up, instead of talking itself down.  If potential huge investors read Sheffield Forum for some kind of sense of attitude, they would likely bugger off to Hull instead. You're obsessed. How many more posts do you plan to make about this fundamentally unimportant issue?  To answer your specific question, I suspect the tree was paid for by the various businesses who operate there. The only possible course of action for you is to boycott them all until this time next year, and only return there when they have an xmas tree as fulsome and luxurious as you think the area deserves. Delayed   461 #19 Posted December 11, 2017 so we say nothing about this disgrace of a xmas tree...  That's right! No-one cares other than you.  Let's be honest here, if you felt so strongly about it you wouldn't be posting about it on this forum where no-one else cares or is willing to do anything about it.  Here, get a petition going  https://petition.parliament.uk/
 Share this content via...
Mister M Â Â 1,608 #20 Posted December 11, 2017 Of course, if Sheffield spent plenty of money on Christmas decorations, those on here complaining about the scraggy Christmas tree would be foaming at the mouth at the cost of all these baubles etc
 Share this content via...
