A lovely atmosphere, the lorry was all lit up, children everywhere excited, nice few market stalls inside where the new boots will be selling things like xmas cheese and chutneys, ornaments etc... food stalls, altogether a nice evening and nice atmosphere! (i.e. a jolly, fat, bearded man in a red suit). So you may as well ask "what has X got to do with the story of Christmas?" where X could be anything from John Lewis's adverts to Christmas Trees via roast turkey and Die Hard, 'cos none of them have.
