Met weather warning.

Ice and freezing temps to hit Britain. colder than Moscow.

Grim news folks, wrap up warm and keep safe.

Keep an eye on your elderly neighbours.

Stock up on essentials.

But most of all don't panic

We can survive.

 

Watch out, sedith will be along soon with the annual school closures comment. :roll:

Only 3 weeks to go and its starts getting lighter . Winter weather always seems worse to me when its dark . Snowed a bit last night in Dronfield and paths this morning slippy but a bright start to the day .

Seems to be downgraded now, light snow, possibly to start at 8am for a few hours!

The BBC Forecast does not say that.

 

Current summary on the BBC weather site for Yorkshire:-

Sunday

Cloudy with some mainly light snow pushing into the south, giving some slight accumulations. Drier and brighter in the north. Cold with a moderate northeast breeze developing.
