Apparently 52s are currently running, so main road mustn't be too bad.

As of an hour ago;

 

38 serving Hillsborough and Meadowhall is being diverted away from Longley Hall Road due to slippery road conditions. Buses will instead go down Longley Lane.

 

38a Hillsborough to Firth Park will not serve Herries Drive due to icy conditions and is diverted along Herries Road and Longley Lane in both directions.

 

97 between Baslow Road, Totley, and Hillsborough and the 98 Totley Brook to Hillsborough are diverted away from Longley Hall Road to Longley Lane.

57 news just in not serving leisure centre-, Worrall , Deepcar using

Manchster road only, @StagecoachYrks

 

83 Tunwell Avenue & surrounding rounds extremely slippy.

Diverted via Deerlands Avenue & Wordsworth Avenue both directions. @FirstSouthYorks

 

52a Heavygate Avenue impassable.

Diverted INBOUND towards City directly along Heavygate Road. @FirstSouthYorks

 

83A Towards fulwood Terminating at hunters bar due to weather conditions

 

120 - Crimicar Lane road conditions have now deteriorated with heavy snow still falling.

Terminating at Ranmoor (not serving Fulwood). @FirstSouthYorks

 

81/82 Slippery & deteriorating conditions at Stannington.

Terminating Malin Bridge. @FirstSouthYorks

Wadsley Lane to Worral doesn't appear to have been gritted, passable in a 4*4 maybe, but not safe.

The media has gone mad. yellow warnings, amber warnings. a dusting of snow this morning and Armageddon is here. its gone now, whats all the fuss about. amber warning tomorrow shower of rain expected. yellow warning for sunday its going to be windy. its winter weather, I despair.
