Robbie Loving   10 #229 Posted April 24, 2018 Forestieri Hooper Fletcher Lee Abdi Westwood Lees Bannan Hutchinson Matias Van Aken  I think most of those would make the first team squad of the BarcaBlades.  Fletcher Van Aken Hutchinson Abdi  All have had previously bad luck with injuries, so it is hardly surprising to see them sidelined.  You don't understand what mutual consent means.  He was only responding to an owl who said he was sacked.  Anyway, there's some right whinging going on around here. Yea you had a few injuries, but you didn't improve the team in the summer or Janaury, you only have yourselves to blame for the low points tally you find yourselves on. IT would be naive to think he has been our only one missing this year.
 Share this content via...

Naive   10 #236 Posted April 24, 2018 Yeah but the Owls nearly got promoted twice in a row.  They did.  I was half hoping that united might make the play offs. Then they could have further improved their record breaking crispness in that area:D
 Share this content via...

That is the fact.  The owls could have improved last summer, where a number of fans were talking about automatic promotion. But sadly the owner wouldn't purchase the players that was wanted. Bringing in a player, who let's face it, nobody had heard of at centre half.  That all said, even if you had spent in both of those windows, it wouldn't guarantee you success, just like it hasn't the last 2 seasons where you had large funds available. Naive   10 #238 Posted April 24, 2018 <snip> some bad tempered tosh about Wednesday being rubbish<\snip>.  Did Wilder keep the receipt for Ryan Leonard?  If he’s the standard of your transfer dealings, you need to hope that the Prince beats McCabe into submission pretty sharpish. top4718 Â Â 838 #240 Posted April 24, 2018 And as said then, you had the same points tally as millwall who improved with a few key signings. That is the fact. Â I'm pretty sure Millwall didn't have most of their first team squad out before they purchased a few "key signings" and I would also wager Millwall are nearer the bottom than the top in 12 months time.
