Â But, it's still worth less than a classic e-type that you'd lovingly restored that had passed its MOT, so they would pay you the lower value. That's how insurance works. I might have spent years on iit!!! But they would pay something.  I think they would, but I do think that if you had an MOT lapse, they might refuse, on the basis that you didn't disclose a material fact.
