I really enjoyed it when I went. Loved the room sets. What's with all the black and dark, dark grey? Maybe not to my taste, but undoubtedly stylish and very well done. Food excellent. Took my son with me and all he wanted was an IKEA hot dog. Very excited, couldn't wait. He's 36...

Your son has good taste, because I love the hot dogs and meatballs. I’m a regular visitor to the Ikea in Gateshead and of course free drinks of tea and coffee for IKEA members in the week. The cafe is a lot bigger here than the Sheffield Ikea, but the food tastes the same.

Anybody watching the IKEA documentary on bbc2 "Flatpack Empire" ? Only watched first episode so far, quite interesting.
