My point exactly - opportunism. It gets people kicking labour and praising the Lib Dems - and people like the posters above take the bait hook, line and sinker.....

There's no taking of any bait.

 

The LibDems are maintaining their profile within the constituency to aid their chances of regaining the seat when it's next up for elections. That they are taking advantage of the failings of the Labour MP as part of that should come as no surprise.

 

You seem to think that no other political parties should do anything within the constituency until an election is announced.

What can any MP achieve? They can attempt to apply pressure to a business or council or something but all are within their rights to tell said MP to push off.

No I don’t - she can do what she likes other than masquerade as a de-facto MP when she has no mandate to do so.
