Didnt he also call the 2nd world war a beautiful war? and call himself the greatest ever president in the past couple of days too?

Wouldn't be at all surprised.

Every time he opens his mouth these days it's to take his foot out of it:

Trump has altered it so the hospital numbers are reported to the Administration rather than the CDC ,headed by Dr Fauchi.

I guess the numbers go to HHS health n human services department ,headed by his apointee Azar.

Azar picked Brian Harrison, a 37-year old former labradoodle breeder who had no formal education in public health or related fields, as HHS’s main coordinator for the government’s response to the coronavirus.[50

In former years Biden could well be regarded as a Republican ,he's no firebrand.

In the Fox interview Trump said this.

He will destroy this country, but it won’t be him, it will be the radical left – the same ideology that took over Venezuela… they now have no water or medicine ... the same will happen here.

Can you imagine either a Tiry or Labour leader saying that about thier rival, just crazy, delusional.

Chris Wallace is a very good journalist, reminds me a bit  of Andrew Neil.

A few days before the Fox interview he answered questions in the Rose Garden and said

If I wasn't here to stop it, we'd be in some mess," he said with no sense of irony.

144,000 dead

1000 dead yesterday

65,000 new cases per day on average this last week.

The projections are for 180,000 to 200,000 dead by voting day

A significant number of Americans will believe it.

This  Bruce Springsteen interview  appeared on my YouTube TV recommendations after I'd been watching one of his music videos. I'd seen it on Channel 4 around the time of the US elections, but had forgotten about it.

What I liked about his comments on Donald Trump was that, even though he isn't a Trump supporter he understood why some of those who still live in the Community where he grew up had voted for him.

Well if they're evangelicals, they voted for Trump and got a plague... should be easy next time :hihi:

In possibly the least surprising move ever, the Don is mooting the idea of postponing Novembers election.

If he delays it past noon on the 20th January, does Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House) become acting president?  As Trump and Pence's term has expired.

*edit* no appears to be the answer from what I've read, as there would be no House as they are all up for election in November as well. What a mess!

He'll be needing the support of Congress :?

Apparently, he's concerned about voter fraud from mail in voting, unfortunately for him, 70% of Americans support voting by mail...

Trump already setup a commission to look into this in 2017... they couldn't find any issue!

Trump, of course, likes to vote... by mail :P

It's nothing to do with him losing support after covid, anti mask wearing and 150.000 deaths

Just when you think you've seen quite how catastrophically stupid the man is, he goes and outdoes himself again - https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/08/04/trump-actually-doesnt-appear-understand-how-bad-pandemic-is/

Surely not even Trump's biggest fangirl on the forum, XXTickerXX could put a positive spin on this.  Grade A evidence that he's a total moron.

210,000 US deaths predicted by the week of the election...

...and Trump is rolling down the pandemic response in the agencies tasked to respond to it. :?
