Trump is so evil.

What kind of monster would massively increase black employment, create a booming economy, increase employment levels through the roof, dismantle ISIS, not start any wars, bring North Korea to the table for talks (something no other president has managed) etc...

Yeah Orange man bad.

More jobs were created in Obama’s last two years (5.1 million) than in Trump’s first two years (4.9 million):

Firstly, I'd like to give you credit for actually using sources and not just shouting 'Trump is Bad' like a lunatic. It's refreshing to read a properly researched post like yours.

I haven't read through all your links yet, I will do that now though.

However, if your referenced data is true, then surely even a straight upwards line would just confirm that Trump is continuing a positive upwards trend, which is a good thing, right?

I will take issue with you saying 'watch this space' about a war with Iran. That's unfair and presumptuous. All of Trumps predecessors have been war hungry, his foreign policy may be abraisive, but so far it can't be denied that he's avoided major conflicts like no other POTUS in recent memory.

It shows who's policies made the trend happen, so yeah.. you could say that at least Trump hasn't buggered up that good work.

When you think of it that way, it's hardly a resounding endorsement.

With regard to the economy....

Trump is predicted to add $5.01 trillion in national debt in his first term, and $9.1 trillion by the second.

Obama added $8.59 trillion in total, but had the Bush wars and the greatest recession in living memory to pay for.

In a time of prosperity that should be going down... not up!

That booming economy is paid for in debt, and eventually, someone is going to have to pay for it....

Someone else, obviously:

https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-debt-crisis-fine-wont-be-here-report-2018-12?r=US&IR=T

US debt sits at about $21 trillion, and in a few years the US could be paying more in interest on that debt than on the military or on Medicare.

Trump campaigned on a pledge to eliminate the national debt :?

I will take issue with you saying 'watch this space' about a war with Iran. That's unfair and presumptuous.

It's entirely justified, the current tensions with Iran are *entirely* of Trumps own making, against the advice of his allies & intelligence services:

https://www.armscontrol.org/act/2018-10/news/trump-challenges-europeans-over-iran-deal

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/obama-others-warned-trump-pulling-out-iran-nuke-deal-could-n1020461

Iran was left on a path that was specifically designed to avoid war, Trump has pushed them off that path.

You can't avoid something that you're already in the middle of, as was the case for his predecessor....

Regardless, Trump is dropping plenty of bombs:

https://foreignpolicy.com/2017/08/09/donald-trump-is-dropping-bombs-at-unprecedented-levels/

Six months into Trump’s presidency, we now have enough data to assess his own approach. The results are clear: Judging from Trump’s embrace of the use of air power — the signature tactic of U.S. military intervention — he is the most hawkish president in modern history. Under Trump, the United States has dropped about 20,650 bombs through July 31, or 80 percent the number dropped under Obama for the entirety of 2016. At this rate, Trump will exceed Obama’s last-year total by Labor Day.

Trump dropped 44,096 bombs in 2017, 121 bombs per day.

Obama dropped 26,171 bombs in 2016, 71 bombs per day.

Over two terms, Obama averaged 34 per day, and Bush 24 per day.

Trump would have to stop bombing now to catch up!

Indeed!

If you had some nukes and that meant the leader of the most powerful nation on earth keeps rocking up and legitimising your regime by telling you how brilliant you are on TV for all your citizens to watch...

... I mean... you'd defintely be keeping hold of 'em... right?
