Liars and frauds.

These women should be locked up for their false accusations.

If Trump is going to start locking up women who have made accusations against him and his sleazy mates, then he'd better start building more jails! :suspect:

Really clever use of bold text there, go you! Do you think Mr Trump genuinely cares about women's rights?

I don't know but it's obvious that the left care less.

The stunts that the Dems are currently pulling to stop the nomination of Kavanaugh will hurt legitimate claims of sexual assault for years to come. They do not care about the truth only that they stall long enough to stop the nomination and in the process attempt to destroy the life and career of a man that they do not want on the Supreme Court. Yes Top Cats Hat they should be locked up for their false allegations, how would you feel if you were on the receiving end of accusations like that with absolutely no evidence?

That's very unlikely to happen given that I have never sexually assaulted anyone and don't hang out with people who organise gang rapes at student parties.

Are you seriously suggesting that these three women who have never met each other, simply made up these accusations knowing what abuse they would certainly be subjected to by going public? (including from yourself!)

.. because they, like the majority of Americans who've made their mind up, believe the victims? :loopy:

They'll have a long way to go to catch up to Trump supporters. How many sexual assault accusations is it so far?

They do not care about the truth

Coming from a Trump supporter that's pretty funny :hihi::loopy:

How quickly you forget Merric Garland, I guess no-one had any dirt on him ;)

If you can't prove they're true, you can't prove they're false

.. as documented by Mark Judge, seemingly.

In historic sex abuse cases where there were no independent witnesses, other victims' corroboration can be taken as evidence.

If a victim claimed that the offender used a particular form of words during an abuse or used an unusual name to describe his thing, then if another victim who has never met the first one, is maybe 20 years older or younger and maybe lives 500 miles away describes the same unusual form of words as the first victim, the chances of that being a coincidence are millions to one against. If a third, unconnected person corroborates the evidence of the first two then the chances of all three being coincidence multiply astronomically. These odds are so high that as long as the victims can provide evidence that they were in the same place and and at the same time as the perpetrator, and that none of the accounts given have ever been in the public domain, a court will take that as proof beyond reasonable doubt that the victims are all telling the truth, even without independent witnesses.

So 'his word against hers' can't always be dismissed as 'unprovable' and already there seems to be a pattern emerging in the allegations of two of the victims, particularly as to the role of Mark Judge as facilitator of these assaults.

Unfortunately the US has a statute of limitations on sexual abuse, including rape, so Mr Kavanaugh won't be seeing the inside of a jail cell but he almost certainly won't be seeing the inside of the Supreme Court either!

Even Trump himself who has described Kavanaugh as 'a wonderful man' is starting to blow hot and cold on his nomination.

Please look at this report detailing what Christine Ford told the Senate Judiciary Committee and tell me what you think - https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/christine-ford-brett-kavanaugh-rape-kill-feinstein-senate-hearing-testimony-a8558011.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1538062058

There is no evidence and one has already withdrawn the accusation already, it's easy to jump on the bandwagon when it is high profile, where were they for the last 30 years?

You are all chomping at the bit because he is a Trump nominee and nothing more.

Actually the opposite is true.

When victims of high profile sex abusers are asked why they left it so long before coming forward, many say that as their abuser got more and more well known and even loved by the public, the less they felt that they would be believed. :(

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt. I hope one day you all find yourselves in the same position.

You could say the same about the victims of Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby

It's not at all uncommon for victims to stay quiet until there's a tipping point. It's not like coming out with these accusations is the easy option.

Well, yeah, it's the Trump thread :?
