Mr Trump - All discussion here

Shame Tony Blair couldn't do the same thing in 2001! 😡

Incorrect and a myth.

Blair always advocated MMR and recommended its use on dozens of occasions.

But as is the norm in this country, PMs do not discuss family issues.

The Sunday Times and the Mail ran an anti-Blair campaign attacking him through every means possible to discredit him in the eyes of the voters. They pounced on his refusal to reveal family business to the nation  as an example of "hypocrisy".

In reality of course it was the media who created the atmosphere of fear by giving a stage to a criminal conspirator, particularly BBC.

Yet when asked, refused to say whether he had had his own kids innoculated leading to widespread speculation that he was saying one thing in public and doing something else in private therefore adding fuel to the fire of fake news/conspiracy theories.

Yet when asked refused on principle to disclose information about his family which is the norm in the UK.

This fed the Mail and Sunday Times with a political hammer.

These newspapers did not care about autistic people, and those who were harmed by missing out on MMR or their families.

It was their (and the BBC) reporting that caused the damage.

All this moaning & groaning about Trump's vist to the UK next week.

Some folk are forgetting that this visit has been penciled as a visit by the American President as part of the 75th anniversary of the D-day landings.  It could just have been Hilary Clinton had she seen won.

If you don't agree with the man, at least respect the occasion out of respect for those allied forces who fought & died to give you the opportunity to protest the other 51 weeks of the year.  You'll not see any protest over the other side of The Channel.

Also find it a bit nauseating that the likes of Corbyn et al are refusing to attend the State dinner because of Trump.  This from a man who was falling over  himself to ingratiate himself with the Chinese Premier the last time he was in town.

Given Trump's been busy politicising his visit, he can hardly complain that other people do so too.

Yep, telling anyone who'll listen how great Farage and Johnson are and how nasty Meghan Markel is.....really honouring the fallen of WW2.

He couldn't care less about respecting the allied forces either, remember his comments about John McCain, that someone who is captured and tortured shouldn't be considered a hero.

Prepare for the soy boy meltdown and protests from people who cannot get jobs as the Donald comes to town. I hope he invites Prime Minister elect Farage for a meeting.
