trastrick 866 #6099 Posted August 9, 2022 Only a couple of months before the U.S. Mid Term elections. They're hoping to find something to justify the money and time spent by the government, $millions, and 6 years of failed investigations and Impeachments. Obama banana republic stuff, worthy of any South American dictatorship, Middle East or Russian Secret Police tactic to destroy a feared political opponent, So far, Russian Collusion, Obstruction of Justice, Tax Fraud all failed. U.S. voters are unimpressed. With Pelosi out and Cheney out in November, this may be the last grand kangaroo court, before the Republicans take Congress and look into the Biden family's financial affairs. Stay tuned
 Share this content via...
Anna B 1,401 #6100 Posted August 9, 2022 He's talking of standing for president again, so they'll be digging for dirt on him. So much for democracy... But then no one would be daft enough to vote for him would they? But then we voted for Boris didn't we...
 Share this content via...

Even the most right-wing of news outlets reported earlier this year that the National Archives had confirmed that the idiot took classified government documents with him when he scuttled off to Mar-a-Largo after his defeat. Boxes and boxes of the things were retrieved from there last February. They clearly had information that more documents or related items remained. There's some interesting legal implications of him taking those documents: 18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally Quote (b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States. And depending on what they contained and if he's passed them on to anyone: 18 U.S. Code § 794 - Gathering or delivering defense information to aid foreign government Quote (a) Whoever, with intent or reason to believe that it is to be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of a foreign nation, communicates, delivers, or transmits, or attempts to communicate, deliver, or transmit, to any foreign government, or to any faction or party or military or naval force within a foreign country, whether recognized or unrecognized by the United States, or to any representative, officer, agent, employee, subject, or citizen thereof, either directly or indirectly, any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, note, instrument, appliance, or information relating to the national defense, shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life,
 Share this content via...

So, like Hillary before the 2016 elections, and not at all unusual when potential crimes are being investigated. 4 hours ago, trastrick said: They're hoping to find something to justify the money and time spent by the government, $millions, and 6 years of failed investigations and Impeachments. Who appointed the current director of the FBI again? 4 hours ago, trastrick said: So far, Russian Collusion, Obstruction of Justice, Tax Fraud all failed. 2 years of shredding and still wasn't exonerated The tax case is ongoing. 4 hours ago, trastrick said: U.S. voters are unimpressed. Which is currently looking on even shakier ground than the Sussmann case, but regardless, even if every accusation levelled against him bears fruit... ...it still isn't anywhere near as bad as half the stuff some of the Trump kids have already been nicked for!
