As religion plays a part in US elections I haven’t a clue what a Democrat presidential candidate should be. Perhaps a Catholic would be a good shout, maybe with a good military record, circa 50 years of age, perhaps of colour, maybe female and with a strong agenda that suits the times.

For amusement can we imagine if Biden had called that rally on Jan6  ,whether a certain poster on here would hold the events which unfolded as if no regard.

What happened was that a legally approved rally on The Mall, was turned into a riot by fringe elements, much like the BLM "mostly peaceful" protests.  The only gun fired in the so-called "armed insurrection", was from a Capitol Cop who shot and killed, an unarmed woman.

 

A liitle perspective is needed.
