I doubt it. Hes been cleared by Congress, and unless there are very murky tax affairs I dont think he go to prison. Might find he gets sued though, that wouldn't surprise me.

He's facing two defamation cases and as in one about an alleged rape and his calling her a liar ,I don't think it will be settled by a pretrial payoff .

The man got impeached, twice! Even Bill Clinton only got it once, for allegedly having it away with his Intern (was that ever proven?)

This article sums it up nicely

Quote

As I remarked, perhaps unwisely, to an audience the other night, the transition from Trump to Joe Biden has been like going from a daily crack pipe to a small bottle of low-alcohol beer once a week.

The daily White House briefings now are a snoozefest. There are no fights, no name-calling.

No middle-of-the-night Twitter storms, no payments to porn stars, no rollicking MAGA rallies.

The WH Press Sec. is a world away from previous lot.

She has a nice line in sass too, " I can confirm the President will be at  work for the people and not spending his time in twitter spreading conspiracy theories"

At home with the Giuliani's

Knock knock

Who's there?

The FBI.

From.the NYT.

Executing a search warrant is an extraordinary move for prosecutors to take against a lawyer, let alone a lawyer for a former president, and it marks a major turning point in the long-running investigation into Mr. Giuliani.”

And the madness continues..

Arizona Republicans are examining whether there is bamboo fiber in ballots that were used in the 2020 election, an activist assisting with the ongoing audit of the ballots told reporters this week. The latest claim underscores how rightwing conspiracy theories continue to fuel doubt about the results of the results.

“There’s accusation that 40,000 ballots were flown in to Arizona and it was stuffed into the box and it came from the south-east part of the world, Asia, and what they’re doing is to find out whether there’s bamboo in the paper,” John Brakey, a longtime election audit advocate, told reporters.

prison isn't an option in the impeachment process. i believe there are an assortment of tax and business related investigations in process, they may result in a spell inside.

Just stumbled upon this

Its from TODAY (June 30th) and they are STILL referring to him as President Trump, its quite scary thinking so many people, including people in power are still referring to a former president as president.

I'm sure in normal places it would be classed as being a traitor? its far from patriotic not recognising your leader even if you have issues with their politics
