Where do you stand on his racism and misogyny?

I'll concede that he's displayed occasional misogyny.

But racism? Can you give any examples to support that claim?

That was a link to a Huffington Post opinion piece. Pretty much every single example was either conjecture, or perception.

Many of the examples in that article are supported by evidence as strong as 'according to an ex Trump associate etc...'

If someone was to google 'why is Trump Racist', then that is the article that would be the prominent result.

Clearly you just googled the accusation because you are empty when it comes to independent objective thought.

Halibut, give me some examples of Trump being racist in your own words, don't just link an article that you googled.

Children in cages, tanks on the streets, rich getting richer while people die because they can't afford medication and a sexual predator in the White House.  It's not the America Simon and Garfunkel sang so movingly about.

Show me a picture of children in cages under the Trump administration. (You wont find any)

Please don't be dramatic saying 'tanks on the streets' like it's a way of life and Trump has tanks patrolling the streets around America. It's 1 single celebration for the 4th of July, and fear mongers like you say things like 'tanks on the streets' as if it's a daily occurance.

Again, I challenge you to back up your claim with evidence that the Trump administration has caged children. Prove it.

It's not my job to educate you. If you choose not to believe the compelling mass of evidence that he's a racist, nothing I can say will convince you.

If you choose not to believe the widespread reporting of thousands of children being detained in often very poor conditions, then again, nothing I can say is going to convince you. By the way 'in cages' was used metaphorically; but nevertheless they are locked up. Have a read of the article below -

So you make a grandstanding post about children in cages, and when I ask you to back that claim up you suddenly claim it was a metaphor.

The truth is, that there were actually pictures of illegal immigrant children being held in cages which were published, and attributed to the evil overlord Trump. Then it was established that said pictures were actually taken during the Obama administration, and suddenly everyone stopped talking about it.

Halibut, I have publicly rinsed you on your claim about children in cages (to such a degree you desperately tried to claim it was a metaphor lol).

You've embarrassed yourself with flippant comments about 'tanks on the streets' (that was particularly desperate) it was the 4th July parade pal.

And when I challenged you to state why Trump is Racist, you just googled my question and posted the first link that came up (which incidentally was a link to an opinion piece with zero evidential summation.

Halibut you have cited vox and Huffington Post in a discussion about Trump.  It would be like me citing the EDL and that other group (football lads Alliance or something???) When discussing Muslims in Britain.

However, is Trump racist?

Possibly. He certainly speaks like he is, accusing Mexico of spending all their rapists.

He said a judge was bias and therefore unfit to judge his case because he was Mexican.

The whole birther thing.

Suggested that African migrants should go back to their mud huts in Africa.

He also got in trouble in the 1970s and 80s for discriminating against black rental applicants.

They're not wrong though, are they?

I mean... a few pages ago you were all upset about comments re: Iran... claiming "Trump has avoided major conflicts like no other POTUS in recent memory"... demonstrably nonsense! :loopy:

How can you explain your statements unless you're deliberately avoiding looking?

Indeed, and the often reported comments from the President of his Casino's.... "Black guys counting my money! I hate it ...", "Laziness is a trait in blacks." etc...

No recording of it though.... clearly... must never have happened....

President Trump and his administration has been described as “inept” and “uniquely dysfunctional”. Trump was "dazzled" by the state visit to the UK, but that Ambassador Kim Darroch reportedly said Trump’s presidency could “crash and burn” and “end in disgrace”, in the cache of secret cables and briefing notes sent back to Britain and seen by  the Mail On Sunday.

“We don’t really believe this administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept,” Darroch allegedly wrote in one dispatch.

Ooh, stinging stuff.

Typically, Nigel Farage has criticised the Ambassador, presumably because Darroch didn't fawn in front of wealth and power, and lick the backside of Trump, like Farage does.
