He scraps the hard won Iran deal, then pulls US troops out of Syria leaving Russia and Iran to carve up the area between them.

 

I hear Putin congratulated him at his press conference today. We can assume that Trump is still in debt to Putin then.

Mattis disagree's with Trump pulling troops out of Syria and Afghanistan. Very professional of him to step down if his views do not align with the president. Pure class from Mattis instead of staying and trying to undermine him. They have disagreed for a long time so this is not unexpected at all. Trump wants to stop policing the world and Mattis wants the US to police the world.
