lil-minx92 Â Â 10 #2617 Posted November 7, 2018 The important result out of all this is that now the House of Representatives has been won by the Democrats apparently they will start to open investigations into Trumps tax affairs, business links with Russians etc etc etc. Trump may soon be sweating
 Share this content via...
melthebell   863 #2618 Posted November 7, 2018 looks like Trump did pretty well in the Mid term, still got a good advantage, think he needs to concentrate on what he has done well rather than his persona going forward that will pick him up more votes.  But he strengthen the Senate which I guess has more political implications. Anyway, both parties are claiming success so everyone can be happy Keep trying lads, what ive read it means hes NOT going to get HIS way for the next two years, there will be a hell of a lot of dummy spitting and crying and whinging on twitter when he doesnt get things his way   gonna be a fun ride
 Share this content via...
Top Cats Hat   10 #2619 Posted November 7, 2018 The first thing to go will be his 'Big beautiful wall'!  Without support in the House of Representatives, he will have to pay for his wall out of his own pockets!
 Share this content via...
glennpickard   10 #2620 Posted November 7, 2018 The description of POTUS by TCH Nov 5 is one of the most appropriate I have seen, it was summed up well "SnailyBoy" you are now seeing how some people are not able to accept defeat and rejection of the present direction, and will try to blame anyone rather than look in the mirror. POTUS said so many times this election was a referendum on him. Now we can all see the results, but some have great difficulty accepting reality.  And of note, there are now 100 women in the House, including two of the muslim faith and two native American women, as well as a number of African American women Democrats. A VG start towards major change
 Share this content via...

Hots on   10 #2623 Posted November 7, 2018 How did he do well? He's lost the House of Representatives in a pretty large swing.  Historically he's done better than any other sitting, first term President in the mid-terms for about 80 years. XXTickerXX Â Â 10 #2626 Posted November 7, 2018 How did he do well? He's lost the House of Representatives in a pretty large swing. Â He did well because the blue wave never happened and they strengthened the senate. Historically they also lose seats in the house in the midterms. Luckily every far left candidate got beat. Â For 2020 it all changes because they will not be voting for weak candidates. It will be Trumps name on the Ballot. Â Ronald Reagan lost 25 seats in the midterms and at next election time took 49 states only losing to Mondales home state by 3000 votes. Â It wasn't a great night but when even CNN says the blue wave never happened it was also not what the Democrats were predicting or hoped for. Â A lot of people place healthcare and the supreme court as their primary voting motive. The Republicans own the supreme court now. All these rallies that Trump attended and he endorsed in the Senate. They are there because of Trump and they will vote any way he wants. Â Can you imagine any Democrat saying "we'll take it to the Supreme Court" :hihi:
 Share this content via...

Trump has repeatedly lied about bringing down drug prices and seems hellbent on making more Americans make impossible choices. What a tosser. I like a good chuckle when I read your insane hatred for Trump. It puts a smile on my face every time thinking how much he lives in your mind and all the worlds troubles are Trumps fault.
