The Democrats are really getting desperate to derail the nomination, there isn't a single shred of evidence yet they roll out one after another (most discredited) claiming sexual assault after sexual assault, this is doing significant damage for woman who have genuinely been victims of sexual assault. The stunts that the Dems are currently pulling to stop the nomination of Kavanaugh will hurt legitimate claims of sexual assault for years to come. They do not care about the truth only that they stall long enough to stop the nomination and in the process attempt to destroy the life and career of a man that they do not want on the Supreme Court. In historic sex abuse cases where there were no independent witnesses, other victims' corroboration can be taken as evidence.

 

If a victim claimed that the offender used a particular form of words during an abuse or used an unusual name to describe his thing, then if another victim who has never met the first one, is maybe 20 years older or younger and maybe lives 500 miles away describes the same unusual form of words as the first victim, the chances of that being a coincidence are millions to one against. If a third, unconnected person corroborates the evidence of the first two then the chances of all three being coincidence multiply astronomically. These odds are so high that as long as the victims can provide evidence that they were in the same place and and at the same time as the perpetrator, and that none of the accounts given have ever been in the public domain, a court will take that as proof beyond reasonable doubt that the victims are all telling the truth, even without independent witnesses.

 

So 'his word against hers' can't always be dismissed as 'unprovable' and already there seems to be a pattern emerging in the allegations of two of the victims, particularly as to the role of Mark Judge as facilitator of these assaults.

 

Unfortunately the US has a statute of limitations on sexual abuse, including rape, so Mr Kavanaugh won't be seeing the inside of a jail cell but he almost certainly won't be seeing the inside of the Supreme Court either!

 

Even Trump himself who has described Kavanaugh as 'a wonderful man' is starting to blow hot and cold on his nomination.

There is no evidence and one has already withdrawn the accusation already, it's easy to jump on the bandwagon when it is high profile, where were they for the last 30 years?

 

You are all chomping at the bit because he is a Trump nominee and nothing more.
