More evidence of his lies and incompetence - May last year, promises drug companies will soon make ''massive'' voluntary price cuts. What's actually happened?

Since the start of this year prices for branded prescription drugs have risen over 4,400 times.

I've been reading recently about how people are starting to move in significant numbers from hotter places in the US, such as Phoenix, to cooler places such as Flagstaff (both in Arizona) because the temperatures are rising steadily. And in Florida people are starting to move to places higher above sea level because of concerns over sea level rise, and areas close to sea level are seeing property prices drop. Both states voted for Trump in 2016 but by small margins. If people acknowledge climate change in where they live and move to, it begs the question "Why vote for a climate change denier?" And will they vote differently next time?

Phoenix and Florida are still increasing in population.

Phoenix was 2nd in the list of fastest growing cities last year.

Phoenix does not have the water supplies to sustain these levels of growth and will have serious issues.

Population increase in Florida is pushing more and more development onto the lower-lying coastal areas that are prone to flooding.

Those with the money buy on higher ground, but we can see similar patterns in the UK. Even here in Sheffield people will tell you that some new developments will flood.

Ive not heard about the misogyny , do tell.

Read this for some background - I think it's a very fair and measured piece.

Also, some further reading for you about his attitude to women's rights -

https://www.vox.com/2018/8/31/17791858/brett-kavanaugh-judge-views-vote-abortion-roe

Lastly - his frat house history, his stance on women's rights (as in, he wishes to curtail them) and a history of sexual assault allegations. Does that sound like a person who respects women and sees them as equals?

It certainly seems to be about socioeconomics, those with the money are moving to cooler places or on higher ground, where the property prices are going up, and those in lower incomes have to settle for rising temperatures and sea levels. On that basis you might expect people on lower incomes to vote against politicians who support making the planet hotter for short term economic advantage. Whether that's what happens in practice I don't know

In typical Trump fashion, despite obviously not intending it to be a joke, he now claims he did intend it to a joke, thus making him look even more a tool as if that were even possible.

He's like a bad dream the world can't wake from.

Liars and frauds.

These women should be locked up for their false accusations. No proof, nothing to back up their fairy tales and thankfully it will all come out in the wash.

This is well worth a look

The Bill Cosby defence?

Tucker Carlson! Well, that's me convinced :loopy:

Most Americans believe the accusations are true, which probably doesn't help

Wow, another misogynist defending men who treat women like dirt.

I'm not going to watch the video. Fox News isn't really news.

Further danger signs - Trump attacking Germany and praising Poland.

That's the Poland where the Law and Justice party hold a slim parliamentary majority and recently forced a load of senior judges out of the Supreme Court so they could appoint their own. Where in 2016 the government took over the state media and the government appoints senior broadcasting figures. Where women's reproductive rights and rights of assembly are being threatened and limited.
