And he almost certainly will run again.  Even if the GOP loses the midterms coming up, and even, if they lose them quite spectacularly. That doesn't matter. A rubbish performance in the midterms doesn't necessarily augur badly in the next round of elections for the president who the voters quite rightly consider to be that bit above party politics anyway in the US. Trump is looking pretty good to be the president for the full 8 years frankly. That means doing two things. Fulfilling any electoral promises he has made, particularly on the economy as well as avoiding any embarrassments which don't matter to his core support but will make a big difference to any waverers.  And remember, any help he gets throughout facebook/fake news/Putin will be under severe scrutiny second time around.  It is by no means a done deal.
