Ghozer   112 #2 Posted October 19, 2017 If you have taken the drive out, and plugged it into a PC via SATA, and it's asking you to format it, then it's likely the HDD is also damaged/faulty...  as if it's connected up properly, it should just show as a 2nd drive in "This PC" (or My Computer) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
speleo1 Â Â 10 #3 Posted October 19, 2017 thanks for reply i tried it connected to a pc tower but did not show up as you said but showed on device manager,then connected to a toshiba from which it came from it showed as second drive but it was Red as if it was a full h/d,i also switched h/d from one toshiba and put this h/d in but nothing happend.
