So if Costa means later opening times I can only see this as a plus for patients and visitors..

My mum was recently an in-patient at a large London hospital. Whenever we visited in the evening, on our way out, Costa was always closed - this was well before the end of visiting hours. Maybe Sheffield will be different.

I can't see the problem. You either have changes like this or you pay more taxes to prop up the financial black hole of the NHS.

They are that bad yet you've had all these products from them?

 

I've been in occasionally when there's no better alternative. As they are just about everywhere! The stuff they do is passable but no more than that. I seem to recall reading recently that hospitals were to stop selling sugary pop. If that's true it seems strange to have costa in hospitals selling the likes of 600 calorie
