medusa   16 #4 Posted October 11, 2017 The YWCA, which is at Peile House, 255 Pitsmoor Road, specialises in young women who have nowhere to have their babies in safety, and I'm sure they'd be very grateful if you were to donate to them.  They're open 24/7, but if you'd like to call first, they're on 273 9256.   There are refuges around the city, but their location is protected so making physical donations to them involves getting someone to come and meet you at a public location. Every year we get boxes for the Homeless Christmas Shoe Box Appeal out to the ladies and their families, but I still have never been to any of them.
