Taxi Companys with different tarriffs

Does anyone know of any taxi firms that operate a different tariff dependent on the time of day.

 

I appreciate Hackney Cabs do but do Private Hire Companies.

thats how uber work, or more to the point, more at busy times and less at non bust times.

Thanks Kidley but I was looking more towards the "Mainstream" for want of a better word.

I haven't heard of private companies (e.g. City, Network, etc.) having a flexible tariff. Maybe they might to compete with Uber.

News to me. I use City 6 times a week. No variation in the cost of my regular journey.

So if I phoned and booked City, from what ever borough district council area I was in, regardless of time of day, there's only the one fixed tariff ?

Now now. My regular journey is during the day or early evening. I'm aware that should I book a cab at 03.00 my fare would be most likely higher. My post was in reference to the claim that City "charge what ever they want".
