I've just seen one of my neighbours leave the house bare headed in the rain. Do you you go out in the rain with no protection or do you ensure that you have some sort of way of keeping your head dry, either when it's raining or in anticipation of imminent rain?

I always keep a woolly hat in my coat pocket for such an eventuality.

My black floppy hat, or if it's windy, nothing .

Or my new beret, that does stay on in the wind :)

I love to feel the wind and the rain in my hair.

Wonder what tinfoilhat wears ?

A hood if it tipping it down (if I'm wearing a coat with a hood) and I'm mooching about town. Nowt if I'm working outside in the rain. Baseball cap if I'm fishing or summat. But as my years advance I'm wondering whether I should be wearing a hat with more distinction.

Tinfoil hat for indoor use only :P:P

Waving my thread resurrection wand, what are Sheffield forumers wearing on their collective noggins this summer?

If it's sunny and not windy, a straw panama style affair - my head burns very easily, I wear a no.1 cut and a very thin on top. Occasionally a tweed flat cap. If excessively rainy pull my hood up, otherwise nothing.

I can't pull off one of them. I'm rocking a bright red under armour cap, which wicks sweat brilliantly and doesn't leave horrible marks and doesn't fade - so far at least. Still looking at more stylish alternatives.
