Does anyone know what businesses was on or close to Pond Street back in 1975?

Does anyone know what businesses was on or close to Pond Street back in 1975?

 

There was a row of shops on the second level of what was a parking building at the bottom of Flat St. across from the Penny Black, but the only one that I remember was a fish and chip shop. That was the only one in Sheffield open on Sundays at that time.

Yeah my relations had a fruit shop in pond street peggy sargeant pond st norah never far away ?

I seem to remember a wallpaper shop. Blaskey's? and there was also a supermarket

It was Presto supermarket a clothes shop and a shop a bit like pound land selling odds&sods

There was a bookmakers, think it was Corals. Went i one day and backed a horse called "Draw The Line" nice odds as well, that's stuck with me since then.

IIRC there was a porno cinema somewhere around there, can't remember what it was called but I do know I saw the actual Raiders of the Lost Ark there in, like, 1981.
