banjodeano Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 We have to go to York at the weekend to pick a parcel up, but we usually go walking in the Peaks at the weekend, so i was wondering if i could kill two birds with one stone, and try a walk somewhere between York and Rotherham, if anyone knows a nice 7 or 8 mile circular walk, that would be great. Thanks in advance
Annie Bynnol Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 A place easily missed is Wentbridge, Brookadale Nature Reserve and Kirk Smeaton (Shoulder Of Mutton at Kirk Smeaton!) Its underneath the A1 short of Pontefract Lots of fascinating stuff here - nature, history, geology, huge bridge etc., prepare to be amazed. For something completely different- Drax Millennium Walks guide Selby Horseshoe Walk guide + top class Fish and chips at Mr C's
