Warner E Hodges + Webb Wilder + Eric Ambel

live at

The Greystones

Greystones Road, Sheffield, S11 7BS

Friday 13th October 2017

We are delighted to bring this fantastic triple bill to The Greystones and to welcome back some old friends and introduce some new.

Warner E Hodges - returns after a number of sell-out shows at the venue with Jason & The Scorchers, Dan Baird and Homemade Sin and with the Warner E Hodges band. He will bring his unique humour and rock n' roll bombast and with his special blend of supreme guitar tone and licks - and off-the-scale guitar slinging - as only he knows how.

Webb Wilder - electrifying artist and last of the full-grown men - returns to the venue after playing his hugely successful solo show last year, one of only a handful of UK dates after a break of over 20 years.

For this dynamic triple bill we also welcome Eric Ambel. Singer / guitarist / songwriter Eric Ambel is many things: an alumnus 1980’s roots-punk band The Del-Lords; member of both Steve Earle’s band the Dukes and cheerful hell raisers the Yayhoos; running buddy of the Skeletons and the Bottlerockets’ leader of his own cool crew, Roscoe’s Gang. He is also a renowned producer with a who’s who of exemplars (among them: Nils Lofgren, Bottle Rockets, the Backsliders and Marshall Crenshaw) and known to the the world and his friends as Roscoe.

This show will be a fantastic night of Americana in the intimate Backroom of The Greystones. Warner will play a mix of lead and rhythm guitar with a core band, including Sheffield's own hero Andy Dye on bass (The Fargo Railroad Co.), providing the engine room for all three artists across the evening.

We think we are onto something mighty special here and you need to be able to say: "I was there!" Get your tickets pronto!

Tickets available from the venue daily til 6pm
