bertyboop   10 #1 Posted September 6, 2017 I need help.. I have a 2 year old with a cows milk allergy, and I'm lactose intolerant. My other half can't eat carbs due to a diet he's on.  What can I cook?  It needs to be something okay for the little one so nothing too big. lectrolove   10 #2 Posted September 8, 2017 Rice pudding?  Don't be daft!  OP presumably you should all be ok with meat, fish, fruit, veg, eggs? Nothing to stop you and your child having things like bread, rice, potatoes etc with them. I used to have to cook for someone who was coeliac, lactose intolerant and soy intolerant, that had its challenges!
 Share this content via...
bertyboop   10 #3 Posted September 14, 2017 Sorry, just seen your reply. I'm wanting to cook for the family and all eat the same thing twice a week, and due to the diet my partner is on, it cannot contain carbs. I've come up with stew, but its a bit boring for my taste. Just wondered if anyone knew of any recipes that could suit
 Share this content via...
Mayfly182 Â Â 10 #4 Posted September 14, 2017 When you say your other half can't eat carbs, how strict is that? Are we talking 'no potatoes, rice, bread etc' or 'no plant matter at all'? All plant matter is built on carbohydrates but some types have a lot more available carbohydrate than others.
 Share this content via...
