Cream Bun   10 #338 Posted July 2, 2018 I feel sorry for the poor sods in Hillsborough who might be forced to hear the music of the likes of Shed Seven in a field in 2018. A fate worse than death.  Given that Shed Seven are on the 2nd stage on Sunday afternoon chances of locals hearing them will be slim. alchresearch   207 #342 Posted July 3, 2018 Tributes to Sheffield Tramlines Festival organiser The director of Sheffield's Tramlines Music Festival has died. In a statement issued last night, festival organisers said Sarah Nulty had passed away at the age of 36 following a brief illness.  Tramlines began as a free city-wide festival in 2009.  In recent years it has attracted more than 100,000 people.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-leeds-44656267?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=5b3b06899797eb066786c6b1%26Tributes%20to%20Sheffield%20Tramlines%20Festival%20organiser%26&ns_fee=0#post_5b3b06899797eb066786c6b1
 Share this content via...

There are more outlets for new music than ever before; social media, YouTube etc etc. Plus dedicated radio stations to champion them. Radio 6 is a prime example.
