Check out the harnesses obviously attacked to their t- shirts.

Astro - nots.

sigh

i just watched the first 7 minutes or so. what i saw......

1: - Yup they practice for weightlessness in space using water tanks and wires / harnesses. and?.........

2: - They are human beings, they even laugh and joke, i presume its encouraged rather than dwelling on what could happen to them?

3: - the "proof" is somebodys own opinion scrawled on the bottom of the screen every so often, normally in sarcastic and disparaging tones.

4: - some clips of George Clooney talking while making a film, cue ooh look they are actors.

if thats proof you need to look harder, thats the worst piece of "evidence" ive seen. I think theyve now got so many hooked, buying books etc the conspiracy nuts now dont even bother trying that hard.

9/11 had to have been an inside job , how was it that the bbc reported world trade centre 7 building being had collapsed while the reporter was still stood in front of it , in all its glory behind her , minutes later it collapsed , I might add that world trade centre 7 had not been hit by any plane so why did it collapse

Talking of "dodgy purveyors" of news

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46976834

Apparently Daily Mail arent happy theres a newish app   / browser extension that flags them up as  "generally fails to maintain basic standards of accuracy and accountability" LOL

along with them, a few other news sites do too such as

Visitors to the right-wing US conspiracy site InfoWars, the left-wing US political blog Daily Kos and the Russian government news agency Sputnik also see the same words of advice.

right? wrong? conspiracy against some?

Sadly one of the many effects of the Brexit/Trump votes was that those cranks and crackpots who inhabited far away corners of the internet peddling their fake news to anyone who would listen, now seem to think that they have a licence to trouble normal folk with their evidence-free nonsense.

well fake news DOES have an effect, people are dying because of it, whatsapps recently had to limit the amount of shares a story can be shared to mitigate it being fake, trouble is...it still gets shared 5 times per person :(

You're right.

Social media has certainly helped these people spread their dangerous nonsense. 😡

Fake new in the UK  was really given a boost, by BALIR, and his perpetual truth beliefs, knowing that lies can pay dividends,  and in his case absolutely tens of  millions by the grateful corporations that benefited from the scam.

Then the BBC had to get rid of a few people that told the truth, and the guardian was bought to book when it got hold of the hard disk containing what the spooks here and in the USA were up to.

So we are either blatantly lied to, or given a selected part of a story, as we bombed Libya,  an then next on the list was Syria.  We now know the Government paid for the fake videos produced by the White helmets who it seems sold the body parts of people killed by the terrorists.  We funded these people,  we then bombed the infrastructure as we did in Libya, giving them all freedom and democracy.  We helped create the immigrant crisis, as those silly people decide to flee from the mess we created, instead of doing what they were supposed to do, die of malnutrition and disease.

Politicians are paid to lie, as they have to sell austerity and blame the poorest for it, and not the greedy bankers, who are now allowed to dictate policy and legislation, hence no regulation of any worth.   Poverty is apparently a life choice, something people choose like a career move.

If you use the internet, you can then go though many sites, and compare stories, and  many actually provide facts and evidence whereas our media is all about speculation, fear mongering, opinions, BREXIT being the most blinding speculative load of nonsense flooding the mainstream media.  This allows the NHS to be under funded along with schools, social and public services, while the nationalised corporate monopolies increase their charges while doing a little as possible thus boosting profits and dividends.   The private corporations are running amok as the tree felling in Sheffield proves, the more trees felled the more profit,  and as for the people, they just get in the way and ask unnecessary questions.

So as for conspiracy theories which we all now is a label to denigrate any conversation, by people who are not interested but like to feel important.  But maybe the banks, the corporate interest, the financial industry have conspired to impoverish the whole country, but out elected representatives sold out a long time ago,  Mrs May’s husband is as everyone knows a big big investor in the war in YEMEN, so that has to continue, and is that a conspiracy theory or a coincidence theory?

We have been trodden on for so long using austerity the last decade and other excuses before that, that we are so used to it, so used to being robbed our nations  rail, post, energy, airports and the rest, that we actually believe it will get better when the people pushing the policies have other ideas.

No, the Trump and EU referendum campaigns saw the first large scale use of the deliberate targetting of fake news to swing a vote. One of the serious  possibly unintended  consequences of this was a growing number of people seeing an equivalence between real news and fake news.

And an unintended consequence of that is that the crackpot conspiracy theorists who have hidden in corners of the internet now see themselves as mainstream or at least having the right to be seen as a legitimate equivalent narrative.

Now if I was a conspiracy theorist I would say that neither of the above consequences were not unintended but a deliberate attempt to sow confusion and muddy the water to a point where the truth became whatever those with the most money and greatest access to social media decided it was.
