How frequent is your street cleaned?

Recommended Posts

How often do you see street cleaners/litter pickers in your area? Are you satisfied with the cleanliness of your neighbourhood, and what kind of area do you live in (affluent/average/poor)?

Is your area clean or dirty as a result?

Middle class suburb. I can't remember the last time I saw a street cleaner either. It's unusual to see rubbish on the streets here.

Very rarely see street cleaners, in fact I could count on one hand and I've been here 10 years, I live just off Sheffield Lane Top and the street is very very clean.

Haven't seen a road sweeper for about a year but area is generally clean. As it is a quiet suburban area with quite a few woods am seeing quite a lot of fly-tipping either over the walls or at the entrances to the woods. Council are aware as there are notices up warning against it.

Ordinary street in Hillsborough. Never see a street cleaner, but it's pretty clean. I've picked up the odd bit of litter near my house, assume neighbours do the same.

Why do we always have to have one who types "rubbish" like this? You must feel proud!
